We are very excited to announce that our 2021 Annual General Meeting will be taking place on Thursday, July 22 at 7:00 PM via Zoom! This year’s AGM will feature a discussion on Hamilton’s cycling-related challenges and opportunities in 2021, such as COVID response, inclusion and the truck route, with three fantastic guest speakers: John Neary, Jamie Stuckless and Vince Kuber!
As always, our AGM is free and open to everybody! You don’t have to be a member to attend.
We will circulate a Zoom link prior to the event. Hope to see you all there!
More about the guest speakers:
Vince Kuber is a run coach who’s taking it further to create space and comfort for everyone to enjoy running, and helping people find what they need for themselves connecting the mind, body and spirit. Vince is also the run captain for the BIPOC exclusive run night with Air Up There.
John Neary lives in Beasley Neighbourhood and practices general internal medicine at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. He would like Hamilton to pursue policies (relating to truck routes, among other things) that create less gainful employment for his profession.
Jamie Stuckless has worked and volunteered in Ontario’s active transportation sector for over a decade. Based in Hamilton, she recently launched her own independent consulting practice where she supports people and organizations across North America who are making change in their communities.
